I practically don't care about pageviews since I'd rather have people looking at my artwork or leave a comment rather than look at what's on my page. I love art with a passion, but I don't get how some people think they're amazing just because of how many DA artists view their page. Even though I don't have tons of pageviews I will still post my work for the world to see since that's the reason I joined DA in the first pace. I love showing people what I draw & I love getting feedback for them
Pageviews don't make you good at drawing, practice & doodling does!

I guess in retrospect, just looking at what I said months ago, it probably doesn't look like the smartest thing to say (I'm stating this as an opinion since my brain is broken for the moment).
I still love art and I still love sharing whatever I draw, but sometimes I probably act on impulses. To be honest I do care about pageviews since each view is someone who is taking time out of their lives to view my works of art which is the reason I made a DA account in the first place, to let the world view my drawings, photographs, poems etc.

Well, if we are thinking of it, I do prefers to have comment for the things I may create (and I'm really lazy) that... a "thanks for the watch/fav" that may come and make increase my pagevews 
By the way, I really did not pay attention to all of this before. I really was asking myself "why the kiriban? Why celebrating? What the matters with screening your pagevews?" (It should be a shame since my first register here was in 2005, hahaha!)
But still, I wish everyone to increase their pagevews but... for good reason and real attention.

Eh most people who claim to not give a damn about page views are the ones with thousands of page views.
I made a deviantart account and uploaded art onto it so people would see my art - so I do care about how many people see it.
I dont get the people who make dev accounts, upload heaps of art and then be all "aww I dont care about pageviews or feedback or anything, I'm just here to do what I love" Well make art and keep it to yourself if you dont give a damn if people see it.

Some people just come to make friends and show them art. That's what I came for. ^_^ But I do understand your reasoning of wanting people to see your art which would have to equal pageviews.XD

Your reason was true too though, I think you should place your work in more groups so people will see them in their inbox, and choose your groups well, some groups have thousands of members and watchers so i recommend those. -^_^- And maybe try to win some journal features.

That'll be true, considering my 7,000 pageviews, but lack of artwork. And I pulled them down eventually, mostly because when I thought about it, I had alot of things gone wrong that would've made my drawings look suckish. Yet if I didn't ask people to tell me what's wrong, they'd still compliment it anyway.
