Description
Between rain showers in the gardens of the Naumkeag "cottage" in the Berkshires (Massachusetts).
Wearing my new summer costume in white embroidered cotton. Bolero jacket modified from Ageless Patterns #1505 (ca. 1897), skirt from Ageless Patterns #1737 (ca. 1901). Black silk blouse is a modern purchase and an emergency solution because I failed to finish the cotton batiste and lace shirtwaist in time for this outing.
Also wearing a vintage/antique straw boater with a new ribbon, an antique parasol, and an antique belt buckle worn here with a new green moiré ribbon.
