Interesting... Yet it appears to have an 'evil' or even macabre air about it. Definitely doesn't appear to me to be something released by the US Government or even SkunkWorks. It seems to look a bit alien maybe...

Might wanna be careful with that name. "Rainbow" was once the name of the XF-12, a prop-driven plane that was beautiful but obsolete before she flew. A fabulous flop: born right as the jet age was starting...

I dunno, I think "Rainbow" has shifted in the lexicon to be more associated with being childrens fantasy themed. It's like naming it the RQ-4A "Sparkle," it just sounds dumb to the modern ear.

Not quite sure it's that much of a problem, really. "The B-3 Rainbow: when the enemy has to be 20% deader."

Seriously, they need to get better people on those names, although apparently the UAV's are getting cool names while the F-35 is getting a rerun with "Lighting... II!"

Well...they didn't do too badly with the F/A-22 "Raptor".
As for the UCAV's getting the cooler names, my personal theory is this: The lamer the plane is, the cooler the name they give it, just as a means of compensating for how much the plane sucks. Which is why you get moronic names like "SUPER Hornet" and "Lightning TWO" for kick-ass jets, and cooler names like "Predator" and "Reaper" for pissy little cash-waster UCAV's.

Thank you! I'm probably going to an updated design one of these days...

Supersonic? Zippy? What, like the B-1B Lancer? ;> Some of those lines look pretty gosh darned familiar, if you look from above at a Bone with wings swept.
Neat design!

Well, the B-1 isn't that stealthy... it can't really penetrate air defence networks like the B-2.

Well, you don't want to send a $1.2 Billion airplane to bomb guys with Ak's...

I don't think I'd want to send it to bomb anything.

I'd be afraid... losing one of those things would a disaster, although stealthily carrying 16 JDAMs or what- like 32 SDBs?- into the heart of enemy territory is pretty tempting...
"Where'd your city's infrastructure go? Oh, that's right, we made it explode. Our Bad. -Hahahaha!!!"

I think that it's more than that...Isn't its payload somewhere around like, 25 TONS of ordinance?

It looks more like a starship cruiser than a bomber. Nice work!
