Description "Here, we have a interesting sight. A homosexual pair of Allosaurus fragilis resting together. Same sex pairs are fairly common in the animal kingdom. It has been recorded throughout multiple families of animals, including our modern day dinosaurs, birds. So it isn't to surprising to see couples like this existing. About 25% of allosaurus pairs are homosexual and usually consist of two females. Usually, the two females mate with a male, and proceed to chase him off and raise the young together. And since the females are bigger then males, the male wouldn't bother to fight back. These pairs have more offspring then heterosexual pairs. And being being bigger means they can fight for and keep larger territories with better ease. More young survive to adulthood due to larger numbers. But many offspring still parish before their fully grown. Thus, female allosaurus are very protective of their families. And it seems one of the females has awoken to notice us. And she doesn't look happy........ perhaps we should be going." -Professor Wolfgang

Nice! We don't usually see much homosexual behaviour in paleoart, but I'm sure it must have existed somewhere..

Thanks, sometimes I like to get out of the box. Although there are other great homosexual peaces out there.
