I though I'd try my hand at some photography. Not so keen on the results, I dunno, but I havent really got any good editing software to make it all sparkly, so here is the original creature, with the contrast slightly adjusted to make it bright and gothy

The contrast is a bit high, you've lost a lot of colour in your face and eyes. What did you use to edit it? Other than that "growl" indeed

I think this is my second favorite in this "series" you take great pictures on their own, and I can only imagine what they'd look like photoshopped. It almost makes me want to mess with them a bit. my PS isnt working on this computer though... and I'd like your permission first though. .... I'm afraid I'm not so taken by this one. It's still a nice shot, but there's less flavor to it than the other three I've looked at thus far.
I do like the effect the flash had with the hairline, though.

I am very new to portrait/studio photography myself so this is by no means a masters advice!! However, I think from your four self portraits, that you suffer from a lack of space to take your pictures, coupled with what looks to me, as self timered pictures. Someone mentioned earlier some great advice about using a telephoto to cure perspective problems and thats great advice but it IS difficult if space is confined.
I guess your lights are on camera flash? It has overrexposed your face and some other areas. Its not ideal and there are other options. i would suggest getting a close friend to try some shots of you, using bounced flash if needed, with simple reflectors even of white card. Daylight from a window is even better, if you can get enough.
You are a lovely model and seem quite comfortable with it. Persevere and dont be afraid to admit you dont know everything.
My, that was awful long winded!! 
PS: learn a photo editor! Brilliant for even simple things like colour casts and over/under exposure. Nothing beats getting it right first time however. Photoshop Elements is cheap; easy to learn and excellent if you cant get the full thing.
