PERSONAPersonality:
In the simplest description of him, Haruo is a cinnamon bun, always wants to play nice with others and tries to never step on anyone's toes. He's one of those people that tried to avoid conflict if optional and chooses the safest options to avoid causing said conflict. Though kind and friendly, he's not without his share of negative moments. He knows fully well that not everything is all sunshine and rainbows, and has never once believed it, he just doesn't feeling the need to express it. He'll usually brush off the subject after a brief mention and keep his own opinions about the topic locked inside.
His personality is affected by the seasons, as trees cycle through their stages, so too does Haruo. During Spring, this is where trees and he himself are at their peak, very cheerful and optimistic about everything. This is usually the time where he's most open towards making friends and meeting other people, and is always seen with a smile on his face. During Summer, Haruo is more composed and collected after the "Spring Fever" he feels. He's less in your face about things and won't pry too deep about things unless necessary, though he still has as bright a smile as he does in Spring. During Fall, he's a bit agitated and worn out. His temper begins to show itself, but is quickly shoved down since he still has his sense of self. During Winter, is where he's at his worst. He's quick to anger, often annoyed, and will blatantly ignore you if he don't have an established connection with him. He's cold, aloof, and always thinking more in the realistic and calculating perceptive rather than his usual optimistic perspective.
During the time Spring rolls back around, he'll frantically apologize to anyone he's interacted with during the Winter and almost begs for any kind of forgiveness.

History:
Long ago, there was a village centered around a giant tree that was the village's attracting feature. It was a tree that had lived for several years and produced beautiful pink petals every spring time. It was on the first day of Spring that the villagers had discovered that the tree had become ill and wouldn't be able to produce leaves anytime soon. The villagers not wanting the tree to die, wished for the safety of said tree, thus Hamori was born from that wish. He was able to heal the tree and helped it produce its signature petals once more.
Several years passed since that time and most had forgotten that Hamori had existed, though some kept him in their mind allowing him to continue living. To act as a safety precaution, he continued to give blessings to trees and wanted nothing more than to allow them to produce the beauty they've always maintained. As trees lost their leaves with time, so did Hamori's compassion. As winter striked, cold froze his warm heart and his only goal was to keep on working till the trees were able to produce their beautiful leaves once more.
In present day, Hamori learned to adapt to human customs and even went under a human name to blend in a bit. He continues to wander around, helping with tasks that would require a green thumb and some compassion for nature such as gardening and helping with wildlife preserves. He would always try to keep up with the current trends, which also help him blend in with society. Though it's his dream to one day be remembered by all for the beautiful trees he's nurtured and made healthy, and to be a god that doesn't have to fear about being completely forgotten and lost.
