This is one of the first sketches I did using actual graded art pencils. I finished it almost two years ago, so it was pretty heavily influenced by Holden Caulfield.Related content

Thanks. It's funny you should say that. My English professor says that one of the reasons S.D. Salinger refused to allow a movie to be made of "The Catcher In The Rye" was that he knew each reader would have their own, very specific idea of what Holden looked like and that the character couldn't be captured by any actor.

Since I know what the title is, I can see the resemblence to Holden, even though your pic isn't what I pictured in my head when I read the book. I still like it though.
