Description I'm giving a sneak peak with only a head shot - there will be a full body eventually.

Whats bugging me are the spikey ridges around the crown of the head. Looking at the left side of the head, I have captured the look I want. But when I tried to draw the same kind of spikey ridges on the right side, they don't look symmetrical at all. I think they need to flare back a bit more, but I'm having a heck of a time trying to get it right. Part of the problem is that I crammed an extra ridge in there lol!

Anyone wanting to take a crack at it, feel free...mt brain is fried right now and I have to come back to this next week.

If anyone wants to draw the right ridges so that they make sense, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

The highest ridge feels like it is the centerline, which throws off it's balance. Also, the tips of the crests on the left side of the image look like they point downward while the right look like they point up if that helps any.

But damn does this look amazing. I honestly would never have thought they were something to be fixed if you didn't ask about it. I hope I'll become as good as you at drawing predator faces unmasked. You need to draw them for Dark Horse.

Thanks for the advice, but drawing for me is just on the side. I don't have much time for it and because of my arthritis my hands are killing me after a couple hours.

Its just a hobby to get the ideas in my brain onto paper...

Ah too bad. Your stuff is really quite amazing. Your sculpting skills really come through the stuff you get onto paper.

Simply add one more ridge lower on the leftside of his head, near the eye. It'll look symmetrical then.

I think the problem is that at the crown, it seems as if the "center line" of the forehead is listing to the left (of the head, viewer's right). Overall, beautiful though.

Damn, very nice so far! I see what you mean about the ridges, they do seem a bit off. Though, I think they flare too much, but thats just me.

Though, the bottom left mandible looks a little bit too long, maybe shorten it a little bit.

Otherwise, its looking like a killer piece! Keep up the sweet work!
