This is a very simple and wonderful image. I love that you made it in black and white, if it were in color I believe the background would have been distracting so good call on that. This also has the right amount of shadows and highlights to make amazing.
On a side note this image really means a lot to me. Whenever I go on a camping trip we go on long 10 mile hikes in the woods. The way we keep up with the trail is by making little markers like these. So to me this image is a beacon for finding your way.
