Description
The 501st legion of the Stormtrooper Corps, also known as ‘Vader’s fist’, originated from the original 501st clone trooper legion, commissioned during the start of the clone wars. The legion was led by then, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker during the height of the Clone wars.

Since the First Battle of Geonosis, the 501st had gained a reputation for being an effective fighting force, often being victorious in battle even against overwhelming odds.The 501st fought in many battles throughout the war, such as the Battle of Teth and the Battle of Coruscant, becoming one of the most well-known clone trooper Legions.

In 19 BBY, Order 66 was issued and the 501st became Darth Vader's personal unit as he led them during Operation: Knightfall, in which the clones helped put down the Jedi. Following the transition, the legion served faithfully under the Empire. They fought on various skirmishes with the rebellion on various planets and helped put down the Kaminoan forces during the Kaminoan Uprising.

Following the uprising, many former clone legions were systematically disbanded and absorbed into other stormtrooper divisions. The 501st was spared of the process and given the privilege to remain as Darth Vader’s personal elite unit.

The 501st stormtrooper adorned standard stormtrooper armor with unique blue armor pattern, similar to original 501st blue armor pattern.
This made them stood out from other divisions and struck great fear to any rebels, who encounter them.
