Description
The 212th battalion was originated from the original clone trooper 212th attack battalion. During the clone wars, the battalion served under the Jedi General Obi Wan Kenobi and Clone commander CC-2224 ‘Cody’.

The battalion was renowned to be effective and was one of the well known clone battalion. Kenobi formed a unique bond with his subordinates, especially Commander Cody. Despite closed tie with their Jedi General, Kenobi was ultimately betrayed by his soldiers upon the activation of Order 66, a protocol that called for the extermination of all Jedi. The clones failed to execute their former leader, however.

Following the proclamation of the New Order, the 212th was absorbed into the armed forces of the Galactic Empire. During their days in service to the new government, the battalion was dispatched to the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk where they suppressed an indigenous uprising.

Sometimes after the Kaminoan Uprising, and in fear of another clone uprising, the 212th battalion was disbanded and absorbed into other stormtrooper divisions, losing its identity in the process.
