Not even phased once it gets up.I have been running linux mint for a while but I wanted to add my windows onto dual boot and ran into some issues. I failed due to miscalculations and overestimating the competency of windows to get up on it's feet on it's own. And while trying to fix it with the windows repair disk, my linux couldn't boot afterwards either...
But, unlike windows, linux gave me plenty of ways to allow it to get back onto it's feet, and all it took after looking around was to just remove a line in a text file through the terminal before the system starts up. And now it runs smooth and windows still requires another go... At least it was educational.
So, I just wanted to animate something for it. It didn't come out as good as I wanted it to, but it has been a busy morning...

in fact technically you must install windows first on your computer, THEN linux,Β
windows is a kinda killer/anihilater, when you install it it erase everything...

Not unless you make sure it can't read everything else because it's a different partition format. I left it some space to work with so he made a thorough mess there but he couldn't understand the linux made partitions so it had no way to ruin them

I managed to solved it, but I agree, linux regenerates in amazing ways

Apparently Microsoft is indeed making it harder to be able to use anything other than windows... like you always were always able to have both Linus and Windows at the same time in one computer... but it seems that's not going to last forever

Linux power!
I am on mint, but I wanted to have a windows to fall back on. If only more stuff was ported to work on linux natively :<
It's leagues better and it can do things windows can't even understand, but it gets very complicated when you get down to some things, but it's worth the effort to learn them.

I am relatively new to it as well, but finding help on the internet is easier than with almost anything else. Especially with more popular distributions, like mint or ubuntu.
