I took this photo what seems like a year ago... it's from the same shoot that 'Caress' was taken in... and I just never felt like it was time to submit it... but as I matched it with these lyrics..I found it was time

I think that this is one of the best pictures I've seen in a long time. The dark colors and the depth of it look really sensual and tender and kind of hazy in a way as well I suppose. Although I'd like to see a border on this one, deep red or black, because it'll make your hand not look like it just stops and it'd make it look deeper. But this is gorgeous and beautiful no matter what and it deserves a DD or something because of how amazing it is. Awesome job.

ahh, well thankyou so much for saying so.. some days I like them, some days I dont. Like today.. my nails have been real short lately..and it irritates me..but they'll grow out after a while..heh..I only like them when my nails are all evenly long, like in this photo.

hey, i love this peice, i read your journal on how little people comment on your work and believe me u get a hell of a lot more comments than i do, maybe somepeople dont leave comments because they may not connect to it as well as some others do. im not critisizing your work i am merely speculating because i have loads of page previews and no comments and this is what i put it down to, maybe these people are the wrong people looking at the work and they may not relate to it. anyways, give your work its dues, its a magnificent peice it has a dark delicacy to it, i like...xxx

Hm... Collide inspired a beautiful poece. They're a nice band, used to listen to them some time ago. Oh and the ring.. is beautifully captured, i have one just like it

Heh, "wings of steel" is a really good song. I also like "crushed" (hope that's the name, because i usually don't look at names, but i have the whole song in my head.
And about your journal. Don't be sad if people don't leave comments. If they fav. your work and leave no comments it may just mean that there's nothing else to be said. because they see that piece as perfect. And wouldn't you be bored by tons of "this is perfect" or "Very good job!" comments? Asking because i feel awkward when i leave a comment like that, but in truth, there's nothing to be said about a good piece. You just stare and stare. There are no words for it, because once you start admiring one singular part of it, it means that the work you are looking at is lacking from other points of view.
Anyway, just my opinnion.

Very smooth and sensual. Excellent use of lighting. I would have liked what is being touched to show just a little more in the picture, to give the piece more of a sense of...subject, perhaps? But knowing that you hate critique I'll just stop there.

ah... well I know what your talking about. My problem was that the shadow took over alot of the background...so I figured it would just focus on the hand, [I worked on the contrast and brightness in photoshop with this]... but I just decided to let the background show a little...but not to be clear gave hint to the subject in a way.... anyways, I appreciate the comment.....

i love this, ignored the words completly as they cannot do the feel of the photo justice and they leave no room for the imagination and what the photo means to ,(this) viewer.
to me the picture speaks of innocence, and an old mind too. it speaks of waiting and of acceptence too.
