  So it wasn't a shock to him when he saw something It was like any other night, Breeze was gathering nuts to hoard away for the winter when he heard something fall.
  A faint light trailed as it fell, and through curiosity looked it over.

  Breeze has a strong affinity to any kind of nut, as long as it has a goodie inside, he will crack it open and eat it up. So it wasn't a shocker to see that the thing that fell was a nut.
The Nut looked different though.

It was glowing and still had that wispy aura around it, like a ghost or a spirit's bit of trail mix. Breeze didn't pay much attention to it though. Using his tongue and feet, he pried it open to get its good contents.
It showed even more signs of suspicion, opening it let out a large shriek that rustled the trees and a bright light to flash in front of his face. Again not much fazed Breeze as he extracted the nut from it's casing.

He took it with his tongue and swallowed it before even looking, nothing much happened after that. All he felt was a slight stomachache slowly after eating the nut.

A few hours later and Breeze hasn't found any luck for food, he was starting to get hungry. This caused a massive stomachache to act up and paralysed him.
He tried to get up, but the pain shot up to his head, back, and behind. He fell down to feel pain spread all over his body.

As he got down, things started to pierce through his flesh and skin. What felt like a million tiny splinters touched every part of his body as large fleshy wings sprouted outwards. Branches grew in and out of his body, and leaves quickly grew out to cover them, and along with all this deformation, Breeze slowly started to lose his thought, and drifted away to sleep.

He woke up the next day weak and in a different area of the forest. His body still ached, but had no memory as to what happened. He still went ahead and tried to find his way home.

Breeze's Wereform basically puts him on all fours and turns him into a living tree. This transformation only happens when he get hungry and in the darkness of the night, in which his consciousness shifts to this beast that seeks anything hard to eat.

He has little knowledge about this form and doesn't affect with that much in terms of his routine. It does feed his hunger, the major trigger for his transformation, and once he is full, he turns back just before dawn. He can lived without the aches in the morning though.
