Sorry I havent been active for awhile . I will be posting a few things in the next few days , i still have a page to finish for my portfolio. I figured I need to start putting together character sheets for other writers and artists who want to work with me on getting these stories published. This is the main character from The Books Of Najah (pronounced Nayah) She beleives that she has to kill anyone who is evil. She never speaks , has no memory of her past and she lives in the attic of a brothel. She is guided to evil by the voices of victims that only she can hear. I will elaborate on her universe after I get the info packets together.In this piece I actually was experimenting with some airbrush highlights. Let me know what you think.

Thank you, that's a sneaking suit made from a nano-carbon fiber /teflon blend with dragons teeth armor. She stole it from the facility she escaped from.
And she got her hips from her momma.

The face is a litle stranges but i guess is for the style, by the other hand i like the rub-shiny suit, even looks a litle croped but i like the character good

Cool drawing and colorization!! I'm not one to talk when it comes to shading and highlights so I'm not gonna try. I like it!!!

I like it! the highlights work well but I agree with yuesbee, there is such solid black it has lost a lot of detail.
I do love this caracter and the way you draw her, and now I'm very qurious about the weapon on her back she looks to be carrying?

Thanx for the well wishes. Like I told yuesbee, I do think I lost alot of detail but hopefully this next piece will be better.
The weapon Najah carries on her back is a modified samurai sword for close quarters combat. The handle can twist off and reveal a dagger attached to a chain and the spike on the end of the handle has an acid cartidge in it for when an enemy sneaks up behind her , she can puncture his chest and inject acid into him . I even have a scene plotted out where she jabs someone in the skull with it.
As soon as I get the energy up I will send you the specs on the character, her universe, her fighting style and her history. I'm sure you'll want to write for this book after I get everythin together for you.

its certainly been a pretty min since your last post... lol.. hope the shoulder's healing up nicely... the solid black color for the leather loses some detail on the line work... i'm diggin the highlight style especially the solid whites.. but the solid black defn8ly takes some valuable info from the piece...

Thanx, I guess my shoulder was worse than I thought, I am just now drawing again and I should have something up tonight or tomorrow . I might try airbrushing some more on this piece I'm doing for the kick my own ass contest so hopfully it will come out better than the last piece.
