Description
I have way too much ink, if that's possible, but these are the inks I'm mostly using at the moment. I really like the Diamine inks for colour - they're inexpensive, super reliable, work well in any pen and come in an enormous variety. They also make good non-shading inks, which isn't common, so that I can get a good flat wash when I want one.
The disadvantage of fountain pen inks, the dye-based ones anyway, is that they're unlikely to pass the test of time. I'm guessing they'll fade significantly after a few decades. I'll be long gone most likely, so it doesn't worry me especially, but it's worth considering.
