Although Jasper is Abby's absolute favourite, he's a bit too much of a scaredy cat (and terrible jumper!) to be a good mount for hunting. So when Abby decided she didn't want to be left behind while the rest of the stable went hunting, she needed a different mount.So she was paired with the lovely Charisma who is bold and self-assured while being the gentlest horse you'll ever meet. Together they make a great pair to hit the fields!

This has always been one of my favorite parts of the harpg - finding out which riders would be best suited to which horses. Some people are very good at handling excitable horses, while others are better for bringing up new youngsters. And new riders really need old, reliable mounts who don't scare easily. That, combined with all the different disciplines and levels of skill involved with both horses and riders makes for amazing combinations. I'm happy to see that Abby found another horse to fit her needs. And I hope Jasper doesn't feel lonely. A girl can never love too many ponies!

It is always a fun challenge isn't it? And it's a good test of whether you have established your characters if you can decide which pairs would go well together. 
I should do another drawing of Abby and Jasper soon, she certainly hasn't forgotten her favourite old boy
