Description One of the many funny bugs you can find in Skyrim.
I'm sure at least once anyone has experienced the non-fading arrows.
Some use cheats to get rid of them, but it works by loading the game too.
At times, it's just too damn funny to run by a guard and have him comment on arrows while you're full of them.

...while unbeknownst to the arrow-shot Altmer, she too would take an arrow to the knee. It was a very interesting experience, so I'm told.

Just get yourself shot with more arrows. They'll replace the old ones, and hopefully the bug will break and the new ones will fade as they should.

I wish my elf was as badass as your nord as to blink with an arrow in her eye.

Arrow to the knee you say? Garrus took a missile to the face. And he's still adventuring in Mass Effect 2.

Guards in Skyrim make better town criers than guards. The way they broadcast and keep you updated with the things going on is just funny.

I know.
It's annoying when you hear them whine how their cousins fight dragons while they're on guard duty and then whine about how terrible it must be to fight one or something like that.

Haha I was so pissed when I couldn't make the arrows go away but found out you can also fix it by getting shot by more arrows. This is AWESOME by the way!!!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Pomponorium In reply to SwordfishKing [2012-01-07 13:37:51 +0000 UTC]

Some fix it by adding a cheat cod where you change your sex and then back and there's no arrow.

And thank you

Ah, the non-fading-arrow bug. Somehow, whenever I experience that, whenever I reload an earlier autosave, the arrows are still there, despite them technically not being fired yet. Mind=blown.

Mods, gotta love them.
My favorite one is where you drop a watermelon and it doesn't stop dropping. It just keeps adding more and more watermelons.

I once fast-traveled on my horse and ended up in a dead dragon I killed. Then when I started running with my horse it got stuck in his leg and was dragging the carcass around.

Whenever this happens to me I can always get rid of them by shapeshifting into a Werewolf, gotta clear some space and get away from town - but it's better than my self-conscious thoughts gnawing at me while I fight. xD

Someone has to make a mod and be able to pock people's eyes out with the arrows. If we have them, might as well use them.

I think you're just fine as long as it doesn't hit on the knee but I guess meeting a dragon, being a dragonborn, taking swords, axes, hammers, arrows, spells, yadda yadda builds certain inmunity on you, just keep them away of your knee

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Pomponorium In reply to UnknownVanguard [2011-12-02 00:35:19 +0000 UTC]

We should get double protection for the knees, you never know when you get an arrow and a game over.

UnknownVanguard In reply to Pomponorium [2011-12-02 01:24:21 +0000 UTC]

Screw dragons and apocalypse, arrows to the knee are dangerous! I got an arrow on my thigh soon after I joined the companions and now I'm level fucking 40 and it refuse to leave my thigh! But well... at least is not my knee...
