You read it from left to right, like a comic, starting with the top left, then middle top, top right, back to under top left... etc.

The art's pretty well done, but for readability's sake, you should construct the panels in a way your readers can follow without having to ask the author.

I have a book on how to do graphic novels. Panels go top to bottom, left to right. By the time one gets to "I need to go look around," all but one of those actions has happened.

huh? I was telling you the way it works, and if you want to be understood, you have to go by that...you seem to want help...but maybe i was wrong...people have been reading comics and graphic novels top to bottom, left to right for a LONG time and they aren't going to stop. It's ingrained! You not going by the rules won't help you be understood in a case like this. You don't have to change ANYTHING, just lose the word balloon at the bottom of the big, middle panel.

Well, yes, it's my fault, so what?
start with the first frame, then comes the second - to the bottom of the page, then the third. and then the second row, and then a third - it's simple.
