Started this last week, finished it today.It's...alright. I expected it to look grand but like usual I got lazy and lost patience with detailing. It's a lot better than usual though. c:

Well you have a very good background. You just need to elaborate and build on that.
Practice everyday, and draw things you're not used to. Also use references whenever you can until you are able to draw from your head. c:

such beautiful atmosphere and colours. The little coloured fish and the brownish red on the seabed is perfect, the amount of it, and the thin lines look great.

I totally agree. I actually like it a lot more when it's a thumbnail, I always seem to like my images more as thumbnails...probably because like you stated, you can't see the brushstrokes and mine are super visible. xD
