Another boring school day. Walking down the sidewalk, I sigh. What am I even doing with my life? I mean, yes, I'm getting an education, I have a job, but... It doesn't seem like enough. Maybe it's because of the lack of friends? Well everyone is an idiot, and they never seem to listen to me, so... It just doesn't seem worth it. Not to mention, people are just... destructive. Like I am. We break things, kill, and we have to bring down others. I have yet to meet someone who can convince me otherwise. Then I hear footsteps. Who is that? They get louder and louder behind me.
"Veh~! Ciao bella~!" A guy runs up to me, a smile on his face. Oh great...

"Who are you, and what do you want?" I ask, annoyed already.

"Are you mad or something? I'm sorry if I caused it, bella! My name is Feliciano Vargas, but you can call me Feli!" I sigh. He's so... energetic.

"_____ _____.." I mumble.

"What was that, bella?" he asks, tilting his head to the side. I exhale again and say a bit louder,

"My name is _____ _____..."

"What a pretty name! It fits you, bella!" he exclaims. Gosh, this guy is so optimistic or whatever. I look to the side and let out a breath.

"Whatever, just leave me alone..." I say, not exactly meaning to add a sharp tone to my voice. Truth be told, I kind of like having him here... His joy is kind of
contagious. Not enough, though.

"Veh~ you remind me of my brother. Maybe you should meet him!"

"Not interested," I say, waving him off.

"Please? Please bella? Veh~ I know! I'll make us all some pastaaaaa~!" I tilt my head. Is this guy serious? He must seriously like pasta though... Why can't
he understand though that I don't really want to go? "So what do you say, bella?"

"Still not interested, and why do you keep calling me 'bella'? What does that even mean?" I ask, rolling my eyes.

"Well... Bella means 'beautiful' in Italian, and I think you're really pretty!" I blush and look down.

"Idiot... There are far prettier girls than me..."

"Hah, you really do remind me of my brother! I honestly do think you're pretty, I wouldn't compliment you if I didn't~!"

"Don't care..." I say, trying to control my blush.

"Would you like to walk with me? You can meet my older brother after! his name is Lovino, but be careful, he has a short temper!" I sigh, defeated.

"... I suppose I could walk for a bit. But don't annoy me, alright?" I say.

"Thank you!" he says with a large smile. We start walking down the neighborhood, him talking while making some wild gestures now and then. I let a small smile slip.
He's so... strange. Not to mention, he's the first person in years trying to get past my shell. "Veh~ You look cuter with a smile, bella. Could you smile more?"

"I can't just smile whenever. It wouldn't be real, would it? I'd rather have a genuine smile instead of a mask." He smiles and looks at the darkening sky.

"Yeah. That's true, but sometimes you have to so no one else will worry!"

"You can't always walk alone." I've been doing that for far too long...

"Then you can find a friend!"

"...If you can..." He smiles at me, hands behind his back.

"What about me?" he asks, looking up at me with strangely closed eyes. I guess I can see how long he'll stay.

"... Fine. Just don't become a problem."

"Veh~ Thank you bella!" We walk in a comfortable silence. I glance over at him and I realize just now how he looks. A strange face with closed eyes and brown hair that contains a strange gravity defying curl. Make a mental note to find out what it does... While he wears simple, casual clothing...he kind of looks...cute... I'd never admit it out loud, of course. I'm brought back to the real world when he says, "I'm glad I met you, ____." I'm taken back for a moment, and don't know what to say. I'm speechless for a moment, but then clear my head.

"... W-whatever...! Weirdo..." I manage to get out. Truth be told.. I guess I'm glad I met him too. Yeah, in the beginning he was a bit annoying, but... I wish I could show my feelings
better like him. He looks at me, smiling.

"Hey bella, how about now? Would you like to come over?" he asks innocently.

"... Alright... Only because I have nothing better to do though!" I say, looking away.

"Yay!!" He grabs my hand and starts running, basically dragging me.

"H-hey! What the heck! Stop running so fast!" I yell.

"But it feels better with the wind blowing across your face~!" he says, that same cheerful voice. We continue to run as I try to protest. He just laughs and keeps running. Eventually, he stops and we stand in front of a large house.

"Why... did.. you.. have to run... so fast...!?" I manage to get out between breaths. I flop down on the soft grass in front of his house, too tired to insult him or
take a look at my surroundings. Feliciano looks down at me, head tilted like a puppy. He looks like he didn't even run at all! Meanwhile I'm sweating my butt off!

"Sorry bella, did I run too fast?"

"YES YOU RAN TOO FAST!" I yelled at him. He slightly flinched, but then pulled me up and had his smile like he always does.

"Come on bella, I'll give you some water inside, and you can meet my brother!" I sigh and wave him off. What have I gotten myself into? We walk in, and I notice
he's still holding my hand from when he pulled me up.

"Um... Feli, your hand..." I mumble, blushing.

"Hm? Oh, I'm sorry, do you not want me to hold your hand?" he asks.

"O-of course I don't want to, you idiot! We met like, what, an hour ago?!"

"Oi! Keep it down idiotas! Fratello, which of your bastard friends did you bring this time?! I was trying to have a nice siesta!" a voice yells from upstairs. Feli lets go of
my hand, looks at me, and smiles.

"That's my brother, Lovino!"

"Real charmer," I say, sarcasm coating my words. Feli suddenly looks like he remembered something important. I tilt my head.

"What is it?"

"PASTA~!" What...? He just randomly screamed out pasta... Then he rushes into the kitchen, dragging me yet again with him.

"H-HEY! WHAT THE HECK?" He lets me go and gathers ingredients for pasta rather fast. I watch as he quickly prepares the Italian dish, and waits for the pasta to
cook. How does he move so fast though?! I start getting lost in thought. I swear, he has super speed for pasta, it's almost inhuman...! It's like he has an obsession
or-

"Done!" he cheers out in his bubbly, accented voice, cutting off my thoughts. Did I really stand here for so long?

"You moved so fast...! Is it really okay...?"

"Of course bella, it's not like I'm feeding you Arthur's cooking!" I don't even want to know. I sigh as he fills the plates with hot steaming pasta.

"Lovino, pasta is ready~!" I hear a grumble and footsteps. Feli's already eating, devouring the pasta. I'm about to start eating when I hear another person join the table. Lovino, I'm guessing. He takes a look at me, crossing his arms.

"Ciao. I'm Lovino Vargas, Feliciano's older brother," he says politely.

"... Hi." I say hesitantly.

"Her name is _____ _____!" I could've introduced myself... I look at Lovino, and they look kind of similar. They must be twins. Lovino's hair and eyes are a little darker,
and his curl bends the opposite way as Feli's though.

"What are you looking at?" Lovino asks. Shoot, stared too long.

"Nothing..." I mumble as I start eating. My eyes widen. Holy Roman Empire this is the best freaking pasta I have ever had. Feliciano looks at me as if he's
concerned.

"What's wrong, _____? Does it taste bad?" I shake my head immediately.

"It's alright..." I say, looking down at the plate. His face instantly lights up.

"Yay~! I'm so glad you like it!" Lovino finishes his food and mutters something along the lines of, "Nice meeting you, _____.." and walks upstairs. Feli smiles his usual bright smile, saying, "I liked talking with you today. Can we do this again?" I shrug.

"I guess..."

"Veh~! I'm so glad!!" All of a sudden, I'm tackled to the floor, Feli on top.

"F-Feli! W-what are you doing?!" I squeak out, blushing so much I might be as red as the tomato sauce we had moments ago. Feli blushes and gets off immediately,
apologizing. I sigh, controlling my blush, then take out a slip of paper and write my name on it. I hesitantly give it to him, and he smiles taking it. All of a sudden, he
kisses me on the cheek and I blush yet again. Why does he keep doing this to me?! I utter a quick goodbye and run off. Right after I pass a few houses though, I receive a text. Feli already? I open the message, and it says:

Ti amo, ___.
