Description A common course in Murkwood, this dish is essentially a mugworm suspended in googator goo. Due to the nature of the dish, it comes in a wide variety of flavors, and some versions are even alcoholic.
To prepare it, the mugworm is first left out for a day or two, to expel anything one might not want in their meal. The grubs are then generally steamed along with brice or rustwheat seeds, allowing the grain to take on some of the flavor of the mugworm, for the mugworm to develop a more custard-like texture, and to kill any microbes that might be present.
After that, the head is removed, and put into a mold to be filled with heated googator goo (spiced or unspiced), and served on top of your choice of grain. Optionally, a sauce can be added, such as a sweet magma chili sauce made with a preferred berry or berries.
