Description Some folks requested a high resolution render of my Toy Train with Depth of Field. Sorry it took almost a year to crank it out. I lost my original render scene thus I had to recreate it, so it is slightly different then the 400x300 render. Hope you like it....

Modeled in 3ds max and rendered with Vray.

This looks great. We sell a commercial wooden trainΒ www.nurserystore.co.uk/shop/st… which is great for people that don't have the time to make something like this. but really wow, well done!

Im lovin these toy models of yours!!
Do you model these out of reference pictures or are they completely your own desing?
Im looking something like this to model you know, something easy but yet challenging to practice modeling and rendering. But i can't use this although i would like
cos i would feel like stealing your stuff

This is from a book on woodworking. It has a variety of different plans on how to create stuff out of wood. I used the plans to help guide me when I created this model.

wow, good to know
I think ill go to library to find some inspiration like this!
Btw im a carpenter who studies computer modeling/animation, and im currently on a summer job at a trainstation (toy train)
what a chain of coincidences xD

Outstanding. I would certainly start with wood based products then. Desks, Stools, easy stuff like that.
