This one was purchased from Southern Ohio Gun (SOG). Classic Firearms is a very shady company that I would not recommend dealing with.

I like the stock.As it has a pistol grip.Which to me is way more comfortable.

that is a beautiful M39, lol, I just won an auction for one on Gunbroker today in excellent condition, but the wood on mine is more of a lighter color than yours. Paid $336 for her, but the real prize for me is that it came with a bayonet, I read that M39 bayonets are a rare thing, and in most cases they are worth more than the rifle, the bayonet that comes with my rifle looks like it is at least 18 inches long with scabbard, I read that they made repos of the M39 bayonet, but even those are over $150

They should be very matte. The fins used a pine tar mix for the "finish".

Even if it is I will never sell it, I try to hold on to my rifles and never get rid of them, the are a good investment
