Description
In Greek mythology, Atlas turned his seven daughters into stars to protect them from Orion. This transcendence of conscious beings to the heavens is a beautiful idea. But rather than chasing something reserved for mythical gods, I prefer to reflect on the opposite. This heaven, the stars, more so our sun's coalescence into cold matter created us. Before we could recognize organic matter in asteroids or water on comets, we felt a deep connection to our past. So deep, these mythologies were created to explain the feelings seen in stars. We would transcend into the beautiful heavens seen on calm nights, like Pleiades. The pursuit of space exploration is a natural consequence of many cultures' religious beliefs.
