Description
I promise myself that if I open an art blog I would definitely find ways to improve my art. And by that this July, I decided to challenge myself for a "31 Day Find My Art Style Challenge". It seems a bit exaggerated but I look forward to not just improving my style as well as enjoy the process because I'll be making different kinds of Pokemon artworks!
So for the first drawing, here's Jumpluff! I tried making it Ken Sugimori style and feel I can lean towards this style. I remember many years ago I had this Let's find Pokemon book where everything was drawn by Ken Sugimori. Basically, it is Where's Waldo but Pokemon. The books were amazing!
We donated the books to children who needed them the most so I am also happy about that but I guess, I miss them because those were the same books I mostly practiced with.
Jumpluff has been one of my favorite grass-type Pokemon. I used it in my 2nd Pokemon Crystal playthrough. It always got me excited to catch it because I feel like (no offense to Jumpluff fans) I'm a normal/average trainer where I don't pick Pokemon based on their popularity.
And if you have seen its animation it was adorable! I think it was wiggling its two feet and moving its dandelion arms. I always made it sure I evolve it with my Exp. Share haha oh I miss playing the old Pokemon games~
I hope you like my Jumpluff story and drawing!
