when he turned himself in at the Fulton County Jail, I wanted to do a cartoon that said "Surrender Donald" instead of "Surrender Dorothy" I was gonna write it with black smoke in the sky just as in The Wizard of Oz. I googled it first to refresh my memory of how it looked in the movie. Even though it had only been a couple of days since Trump was ordered to surrender, many "Surrender Donald" cartoons had already appeared in major daily newspapers across the country. It had been done to death in two days! While looking around at related google results, I found a wicked sketch of li'l' Donny done by Mike Lukovich (Raleigh News & Observer) and a funny drawing of Rudy Giuliani by Kevin Siers (Charlotte Observer). These were so good, they inspired we to write a new headline for Mike, and a new subhead for Kevin.
