Thanks a bunch buddy! I appreciate your stopping by. No inspiration eh? Let's see... all you need is a pack of ogres, couple of fair maidens, a few dragons & a medieval castle or two! How about some Greco-Romam Mythology? ... or the Scandinavians had some pretty hairy folklore, not to mention Norse & Germanic tales.

I know the feeling! ... for some demented reason I've chosen to draw a 57mm X 72mm piece with a pile of chains, 150 stone blocks & a french horn!!!! I get tired just writing about it!

I'm sure you'll come back strong with an equally demented scene.

The texture of the grass is very effective, and makes it look like the tall flowing grasses of the plains. The way the colouring lines in the background is curved gives life and movement to the picture, as if the wind is blowing. I can see the subtle lines in the horses mane, the sparseness of those lines lets me know there IS hair there, without being distracting. Chief Red Hawk's expression gives that sense of being deep in thought, like he's figuring out how much farther his destination is, and if he thinks the direction ahead is safe.

Sorry for rambling, but you're piece is just so lovely; you really captured the moment wonderfully

What a sweetheart! You don't SEEM much like a DemonFreeze... I'm so happy you liked the Chief and thanks for your comment - you're obviously a very discerning person with excellent artistic tastes.

just for Thanksgiving... no in the RSA? Almost all of ours come from farms. & they really ARE dumb es... they sometimes drown during rainstorms by looking up at the sky as if to say: WTF??! We were hired to sell the turkey farm idea to farmers & did an ad campaign centered around this drowning fact... we photographed a turkey looking up at the rain with the headline: "How Can Such A Dumb Bird Be Such A Smart Investment?" By the time it was over, Indiana (upper midwest) had 100 new quarter-million $ turkey farm facilities pumping out 50 million birds. Chief Red Hawk and I prefer to go shoot a wild, free range turkey.
...or even 'wabbits' Uh Oh! You're probably a vegetarian!
