Yep, even Christmas (Or Squidmas as it's called in the Splatoon universe) is being celebrated here for Axo and Lotl. I thought of what you prefer to put on the top of a Christmas tree because previous Splatfests involved two things common of the holiday. With Callie and Marie, it was Naughty Vs. Nice and Pearl and Marina had two themes, Sweaters Vs. Socks and Family Vs. Friends. During the Sweaters Vs. Socks Splatfest, I was recovering from surgery, but I won't tell you what it was because it was somewhere in my body that makes me feel uncomfortable if I say it or bring it up to random people. But I was still able to be there during the Splatfest. I was Team Sweater because my torso is the spot that gets cold first, followed by my legs and then my feet. Here are the quotes.
Axo: Merry Squidmas!
Lotl: That's right, it's Squidmas. So it's time for the annual Squidmas Splatfest.
Axo: Which do you prefer to put on the top of a Squidmas tree? A shiny, golden star?
Lotl: Or a graceful, beautiful and sweet angel to watch over you and your family and friends as you sleep under the tree, waiting for Santa Clause to appear?
Axo: Wait, you slept under Squidmas tree?
Lotl: Of course, it kept me asleep during Squidmas eve. My parents did it ever since I was a baby.
Axo: That explains why I keep catching you sleeping under the Squidmas tree during Squidmas morning.
Lotl: So what do you like to put on your Squidmas tree?
Axo: I like to put a star on top. Like Patrick said in the SpongeBob Squidmas Special, "a star on top will complete all the scenery".
Lotl: That is true. But I love angels, my parents would tell me it was to watch over us to wish us a Merry Squidmas and Happy New Year.
Axo: That's a nice choice there. How about you at home? What do you like to put on your Squidmas tree?

Lotl: On the first day of Squidmas my true love gave to me: Team Angel winning a Splatfest!
Axo: Nice job, little angels. I guess angels are graceful.
Lotl: Even for Splatfest battles. My parents always hoped their hopes be brought to our angel to give them hope.
Axo: Yep, it's always good to bring hope with any symbol.
Lotl: Even if it's made of plastic or glass.
