Yep. here's my artwork for Crash Bandicoot's 25th anniversary and Spyro's 23rd anniversary (since Crash's first game was released September 9th 1996 and Spyro's first game was released September 9th 1998). Here is their announcement lines.
Axo: Ba da baaaaaa!
Lotl: That's right, Axo. It's a Splatfest spectacular for Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon.
Axo: I love both games so much, the first Crash game I played Crash Team Racing. EPIC!
Lotl: Well, my first Spyro game was coincidentally the first game. Which team do you choose, Axo?
Axo: Crash obviously. Because I'm a crate breaking naughty dog!
Lotl: Bandicoot, Axo. Crash is a bandicoot.
Axo: Oh yeah. Anyway, who do you choose, Lotl?
Lotl: I choose Spyro because I'm a fire breathing insomniac dragon!
Axo: Awesome. So we're even. What about you at home? Who do you choose?
Lotl: Head over to the voting pole to choose. Find clout, teammates, that's all I can tell you.
Axo: Bring me the clout, teammates, that is all I can say for now.
When Crash wins:
Axo: Whoa! We won! Now Crash is to the top again.
Lotl: Yeah, you guys were awesome. Wasn't this awesome, Axo?
Axo: Sure was. I had fun dedicating the two characters I love, alongside others.
Lotl: I know what you mean, bud. If you participated in the splatfest, your prizes are waiting in Splatsville.
When Spyro wins:
Lotl: You're toast, Team Crash! We did it!
Axo: Great job, Lotl. I knew you could do it.
Lotl: You were a worthy opponent, Axo. I had so much fun, I wish it could never end. But I am tired from battling.
Axo: I knew you would, my dear Lotl, so why don't we relax by playing Crash and Spyro games.
Lotl: Deal. If you participated in the splatfest, your prizes are waiting in Splatsville.

I'm a crate breaking naughty dog: A reference to what you do in the Crash Bandicoot games, breaking crates, and a reference to Crash's creators, Naughty Dog, who are known for making Jak and Daxter, Uncharted and the Last of Us.
I'm a fire breathing insomniac dragon: A reference to how Spyro can breathe fire and a reference to Spyro's creators, Insomniac games, who are known for making Rachet and Clank and Resistance.
Find clout, teammates, that's all I can tell you: A reference to when one of the elder dragons say "find dragons first, that's all I can tell you" in Spyro 1.
Bring me the clout, teammates, that's all I can say for now: A reference to when Dr. Neo Cortex says to Crash "bring me the crystals, Crash, that is all I can say for now" in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
