Presenting the elusive Capricorn! This sign gave me a bit of a challenge creatively. My son is a little goat, so you'd think that Capricorn would be a breeze for me. Not so.Displaying power hidden in silent watchfulness was the task given to me if I wanted to do justice to the sign. It took me quite a while to come up with something I was happy with.
I hope my Capricorn watchers feel that I've represented them well.

There are just so many aspects of this piece that are amazing. Like, the pose--a perfectly captured moment in time. Or the facial expression--a sort of inquisitive shyness coupled with curiosity--not to mention the way her hair is blowing ever so slightly in the breeze. And the wildness of the natural setting flowing like a silent stream to the wonderfully textured wall, decorated by the sign of Capricorn.
Well, I'm waxing poetic, but frankly this piece is practically visual poetry, so like calls for like, I suppose. This piece is so wonderfully contemplative, I feel like I could stare at it for hours. I picked up Lisa's Botanicals Tall Grass last night...love them! Rocks are from Traveler at RDNA and the fabulous Fabiana's Sage Babylon at Rendo for the background.

You're welcome! The rocks are ridiculously inexpensive...$5. Traveler has 3 sets. This one is from the 2nd set. I'll probably snag the other 2 sometime in the future since this one did so well.

I honestly don't know how I got that look. One minute she had the V4 blank stare going on and the next she was peering out at me with that intense gaze that reminds me so much of my son.
