I really love the concept! what a great idea to combine an barn owl with a cat. Not only do they have the same hunting ground, their prey is also similar.
I also really like the light effect and the little dust particles that reflect in the sunlight (such great attention to detail). It gives the scene such a warm atmposphere while still giving the impression of a hidden place.
Also, nice drawing still. detailed but not too smooth (you left some rough strokes).

I love this! Your realistic style really makes this look like a photograph, you could have really found this guy in your barn or something. He looks absolutely lovely and I like how beautifully you've made the muzzle look natural while also being in the same position as a Barn owls beak. He's a lovely toasted marshmallow.
