Description
Acrylic Painting approx. 40x80 cm, it shows Gabriel, the archangel often tasked with
death-related messages. Although a movie named "the prophecy" or "God´s Army" (in Germany) was a major inspiration to angels as such and the character of a sinister Gabriel in special, the paraphernalia in this painting is much more archaic/archetypical for a fantasy/medieval setting.
BTW the rune on the sword reads "Gabriel" (taken from a book of angel symbolism and lore)
(i did a Michael, a Lucifer and an as yet unnamed angel as well and hope to
first photograph those and then post ´em in the near future)
