A client asked me to create an interpretation of Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” On a cake for her daughter’s baby shower. She asked me to incorporate some pink in with the blue since they weren’t sure of the sex of the baby. Starry Night is her daughter’s favorite painting - so she thought it would be a cool surprise!Related content

I have a cupcake book that includes Van Gogh's "Starry Night", and the results are stunning! In fact, when I had to work in my college bakeshop for two weeks, we needed something to bring in more people to show our creativity, and I suggested the "Starry Night" cupcakes. They were a hit! The teacher even refused to have any one of them sold; they were fantastic!
This cake reminds me of the painting and our cupcake creation. It's beautiful and delicious. Well done on decorating.
