Sketch:

Second-to-last piece for my Johnny Young Bosch compilation. Admittedly, I wanted to go for Vash's classic look originally, but unfortunately the only good full-body reference I could find was very tiny an would no doubt become very grainy when printed.

As for the sketch, I was once again faced with a LOT of black and a huge, shapeless jacket and the use of CG only made thing even more difficult... thankfully, most of it looked alright after cleaning, but I did have to trace in the boots (it was mostly the soles that gave me trouble and I wasn't happy with, but I've always hated drawing that partially lifted angle, too...) as well as the gun holster (I would have traced in the actual gun too but it became too grainy to work with when blown up to the necessary size so.... please excuse the gun, but it's most likely going to be covered up once everything is all put together anyway ) and hair because of the darn line-less CG making it impossible to make out the details.

Trigun and all of its characters, including Vash, belong to Yasuhiro Nightow, Madman Entertainment, FUNimation and any/all other respective owners. I do not own the character in any way, shape or form, I am just a fan!
