I don't expect a lot of comments on this one.. well.. I don't expect a lot of comments anyway.. ah well.. what it is to be a small fish in a big pond.

I've waited for those sunsets-that-never-happen too. Don't you hate that. You can tell this one almost wanted to be a stunning sunset - check that tinge of yellow on the horizon - but then it kicked out, damn. Anyway, I digress, again.
This is going to be longish, sorry bear with me...
1st impressions: yep it's a nice shot, a sunset that didn't quite make it. It's missing that zing (sunset colours, flock of pigeons, UFO, gaint cockroach) that would make it a great shot.
but...
2nd impressions: I couldn't browse on. It just sat there looking at me. I've switched from full view (magnificent and far superior to the titchy version btw) and back again. I think I know why I like it - it's the balance. You've tilted the lense and composed this beautifully to run from daylight blues into midnight blacks. it just works wonderfully.
1st, 2nd and 3rd impressions: The framing on this is absolutely superb - I'm taking notes folks, this is how it should be done. That tiny blue line makes the edges luminous without distracting you from the shot.

I disagree totally, it looks special to me. The clouds, when they get looking like this, I always stare at them and imagine them as a huge reniasaunce painting on the skys canvas.
