OMG i found a new obsession... WAKFU, a french animated series based on the MMORPG of the same name. sketches are about a week old and quickly colored them in PS, except the last one, which is from a scene in the series. i hope i can find time to color! >//3//<
oh man, if only i knew about this series much earlier! highly recommend this for those who are fans of magic, fantasy and adventure! WAKFU is seriously amazing and i don't think i've ever been so impassioned with a series since Slayers. animation is awesome and really detailed. the art and character design makes me want to get my hands on the artbooks!
the story gives the main characters (and even side characters) great development and i love them all. the adventures are fun to watch and doesn't feel too "kiddy". the romance is handled very well, too, and i have to admit, i loved how the story played with my shipper heart. the season 1 finale was especially good and harsh to my OTP. i was so upset until i proceeded to season 2 and all was ok...more than ok in fact haha. there are also references and parodies that made the series even more awesome than it already is. ah crap sorry for ranting... needed to get that out of my chest haha xD;;

Haha, we might be pushing our luck if we ask for that xD;; I'll be very happy and content if they wrap things up in season 3 (but if they don't then we can appeal for a forth season)

Iam Really Sad that Wakfu din't have Enough Attention
I Was hoping for the show to be on American TV Channels like Hub Network Disney XD etc....
Because this Show is too Good that it should be a Internet Thing instead of MLP <_<

hahaha i actually have a friend who loves MLP so i would just wish for a lot of attention for Wakfu

i hope they don't rely on that... i have nothing against MLP but the bronies are an overwhelming bunch o_o
references to popular fight scenes would be good ^U^
it will depend on how they tell the story but one or two more seasons would make a lot of fans happy
(hmm really?... well i don't think it would be something he would like, considering the type of stuff the show makes references to)

Well, if you were still active on LJ I posted about it well over a year ago, but hey, I'm glad you found it! I'm just sad you missed out on the Kickstarter, since I don't know if they'll ever release DVDs to the masses, but at least it's available through places like Netflix now?

i did read about the kickstarter... and i'm just happy that they are able to do English dub. it would bring international exposure and maybe even help push for a season 3 if it gets enough attention. *_*

Well, I don't know what you know, but the Kickstarter did so well, it funded three special episodes that will take place after season 2. I got to see teasers for all three. I'm not sure when they'll be available to the masses, but I believe they'll be airing in France soon (if not already). I am hoping more international attention will be given to the series, too, as I would love to see a season 3!

Wakfu is another of those shows I keep hearing about but have yet to really see. Still, your art 'n' enthusiasm make a good case for it. 8D
As always, you do some wonderful things with color and lines here. Crisp, and bright, and very lively. It's especially cool because of how well you utilize both variety and similarity; orange and light-blue pop all over the place, with shocks of gold and black green mixing in just right, to make a really full and compelling palette. Combined with your wonderfully energetic posing, it gives the set a great sense of unity and purpose and life that's hard not to enjoy. ^_^
