Her father and her move to France when she is still very young, and her home canon/entire adult singing career is French....

Yeah but like, she's still raised on swedish for at least the first six years of her life which is enough to hammer it in as her first language

Actually almost all swedish children know how to swear by the time they're six(every kid in my preschool class could) swedish parents try their best not to swear infront of their kids but it pretty usual here. still if you want to touch on the swedish heirtage someday, you can ask me as a native swede.

Looks like the Anita Blake fandom got represented pretty well, both the positive and the negative. Sigh. And she started out so, so well....
Kinda like the Meridith series by the same author. So many pretty men - with emotional problems that give psychiatrists new papers to write - and so much skanky sex everywhere. But then, I'll take me a Doyle or even an Usna and hide them in my closet.

How does Dr. Frank's line come into this?
I know he appears later on, but that's completely irrelevant to this page.
GK: "So I'll remove the cause..."
*poofs out*
"...but not the symptom."
Does that apply to his crystals too?
Headcanon averted.

I always find it amusin' an' enjoyable to see Cheery engaged in Girl Talk.

Ah man, you ought to. Anita's been regaining some modicum of dignity, the boys are maturing, and I'm 98% sure the series will end in the next 2 books, which is making it REALLY intense!
Also, it would be sooo cool if one/some of the boys appeared, if only for one panel; I'd LOVE to see how you interpret their appearances, especially in your stunningly unique style!

There's a Jean-Claude sketch hiding out in mah Scraps if you're interested. And yes, I gathered the plot had tightened, and 'The Harlequin' was already getting better. Shall pick up if I get the chance.

Norrington with Eponine? Didn't cop onto that one until now, but that's a good pairing - if only because they both loved in vain (and died).

Too mild to be an Anita title; nothing is put delicately enough to be said it's insinuated.
You have a great series here, getting up-to-speed on it has kept me up for the past couple nights. Beautiful artwork, awesome storyline. I wholeheartedly approve.

Ooo, James got with Eponine! I noticed they were sitting together in that one Christmas picture, but I suppose it never really twigged for me. It makes me wonder a bit where GND-verse Elizabeth is, right now. I mean, is she married to Will...no, wait, she'd have to be, that was a plot bit in the final movie. The movie wasted no time in making her preggers, either, but I doubt that's gonna happen in GND-verse. Gah, the things you make me wonder about.
Gads, I think I'm beginning to love Christine's laugh. It comes out in my mind sounding like a particularly diabolical giggle.
Sarah has a remarkably quick wit for being sloshed. Hehe.

JamesxEponine has been canon in Roommates since that bit when they tried to hook Javert up with someone. I've just not shown it so much in this.

I wonder if Sarah realizes what she just basically admitted? To me, it seems she just said that the only reason she made it through was because Jareth let her, let her beat him, doesn't seem like she has any reason to be so damned smug and mean to Jareth.

Pika-la-Cynique In reply to jebodoh [2010-05-06 08:14:27 +0000 UTC]
That's the booze talking, deffo. Also, way to turn the tables on Christine who was definitely sponsored/imposed on her producers, raw natural talent notwithstanding.
It's a tricky point in fandom. It certainly doesn't seem like Jareth is helping her any - quite the opposite - yet there is that question of the peach, and yes, all fairytale lore seems to dictacte a big NO about eating fairy food; so quite a few Labyfic authors run with that Persephone catch either to justify Jareth's return in her life or to see the fact that she did get away as him letting her go.
GND brushed upon the topic in that 'Latte and Sympathy' page - Erik sort of implies Jareth did let her go (because he loves her), Sarah is adamant that no, she won (and he was only trying to trick her with the lovey declarations).
Possibly she is a little bit puzzled by that idea, however.
I will admit it's a little OOC for the ever-denying GND Sarah to say that line, but... well, she's drunk.
