Honestly, he looks very... like everything I expect everyone in that realm to look when a mortal walks into the room and they're not allowed to kill it. Very good

-claps hands giddily- Evil Faerie! Hehehe! I like him. He reminds me of an evil counselor sort. If you've ever read the picture book 'Worst Band in the Universe' he reminds me of the bad guy in that. Only this guy looks avian and pointy whereas the other guy is gooey and alien-looking. I have no idea where I'm going with that. I think I'm just trying to say he looks very cool. xD So I'll just say that then: He looks very, very cool.

It's one of the beliefs associated with the traditional Sidhe myths (the Irish/Scottish stuff). The Unseelie Court, the dark, bad ones, has a part that rides out, mostly at the turning of autumn to winter iirc, to gleefully hunt down pretty much anything they catch the scent of - including humans, who can be raped, killed for sport, or simply torn to shreds and eaten on the spot by some of the less human-shaped creatures.
