SO I gave up on lineart for a little while. Working on painting straight from the color itself.OHA Okay so I need to pimp this program right here out to the world more. I whipped this together in part to test out a color palette assistant tool created by a Mr Paul Richards, wich can be found here --> [link] . This is a wonderful nifty thing, very simple to use. If you're interested in painting and feel like you could use help with color choices, give it a whirl!

Well, this is certainly a unigue rendering of this pokemon. ItΒ΄s so different from what I would picture Gengar to look like, and yet I could immediately tell that it was him...or she rather, judging by the lips. Good job on that, thatΒ΄s actually a very difficult thing to do.

The smoke from it's eyes look very nice and ghostly, I like the fur on it's back and the legs.

So creepy yet adorable! Its pose reminds me of those stereotypical Indian swamis floating in mid air. Gengar sems to be a favourite among artists for creepy interpretations.
