Hammerhead was my second SW figure when I was a kid and he's still one of my all time favorites. You did a wonderful job Praggle as he looks so awesome. Ever think about doing him and a couple of other all time favorite aliens as they looked as the Kenner figures?

Out of all the strange, wonderful and bizarre creatures in the Mos Eisley Cantina, he's one of the ones who always stood out most to me when I was a kid. I guess his design struck me as being among the more 'alien' looking of everyone there.

Loved his story in "Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina."
I enjoy all your tributes to these peripheral dudes.

I've heard Ithorians have two mouths on the sides of their necks. And Momaw Nadon had his own short story in the Legends. I also remember that Momaw Nadon had his own entry in the old Essential Guide to Characters. That book was my first essential guide to Star Wars. I gave away my old copy, and I sold my second copy, but I think I'll see if I can find it again.

That early novel might have been an anthology called Tales From the Mos Eisley Cantina.

Yeah, I think it was but, I think in like... " Truce at Bakura " or something he showed up again. I believe they went to Ithor or something like that.

I wouldn't know. I heard Ithor was destroyed by the Yuuzhan Vong during the Yuuzhan Vong War, which lasted four to five years. And the Ithorian herd ships became the arks that carried the remnants of the Ithorian people and their ecosystem.

The New Jedi Order was good, but I thought there were too many books. I'm thinking that they could have slimmed it down a bit. The Legacy of the Force series was OK, but Fate of the Jedi was the one series I couldn't finish. After that, the only Star Wars Legends books I'll read are the Thrawn trilogy, Shadows of the Empire, and Young Jedi Knights. Of the new canon novels, I like Lost Stars by Claudia Gray. That's a young adult novel, but it's really cool. It's a love story between two childhood friends, but it's not as bad as Twilight. In fact, it's better. I heard many of the new canon Star Wars novels are OK, but I really don't want to touch them. Especially not the Aftermath trilogy. Those are mediocre from what I've heard.

I know what you mean. As much as I'd like to see more Star Wars films, I don't think that the old Expanded Universe should be overlooked, much less discarded. I mean, there are Expanded Universe elements that made it into the new canon, such as the Nightsisters, Thrawn, Han and Leia's son Ben Solo (whose name is like Ben Skywalker, but he took a similar path dark side path as Jacen Solo), to name a few. I thought the Aftermath trilogy was a good idea but lousy execution. I noticed the writing style is very present-tense and not past-tense. I'm used to novels that do past tense and not present tense. As for my collection, I have an anniversary edition of Heir to the Empire, plus the following two books in hardcover (those are rare!), plus a signed hardcover of Shadows of the Empire. The Young Jedi Knights books (there are 14 of them) are hard to find, but I found them all. I really hope they re-release them in a few anthologies. They did release the first six novels of the Young Jedi Knights series as two omnibus editions, but I don't think those sold very well. It would probably explain why they went out of print so quickly. And those are rare too.

That's why I pick & choose what I call canon and the stuff that seems weird or odd, I just say is misinterpreted or even from an alternate universe depending on how geeky I want to be.
Actually, wasn't Ben Skywalker Luke & Mara Jade's son?
Are the Aftermath books geared towards " young adults "? I always feel they should avoid that sort of thing.
I think I have all of the Young Jedi Nights books. I know I read the first series but never got around to the rest of them. They're all by Kevin J. Anderson right? I'm gonna have to check those now. I'm thinking that it might have been one of those books where Momaw Nadon appeared on Ithor.
I have a bunch of Rogue Squadron books but never got around to reading them cuz they just came out too fast for me and then I lost interest.

Ben Skywalker was Luke and Mara's son, but they used his given name for Kylo Ren's real name. And since Jacen Solo, at one point, went to the dark side, so did Ben Solo. The Aftermath books are adult novels, but Lost Stars is a good book for a young adult title. Kevin J. Anderson and his wife, Rebecca Moesta (pronounced "mess-tah") wrote the Young Jedi Knights books. Of the comic books I like the Thrawn trilogy, Knights of the Old Republic, and X-wing Rogue Squadron. I have a hardcover omnibus of the Thrawn trilogy comics, and two Marvel anthologies of Knights of the Old Republic, plus a Marvel anthology of X-wing Rogue Squadron comics. The final Rogue Squadron comics will come out in December of this year, and I hope that they do the final stories of the Knights of the Old Republic series in The Old Republic, Volume 3. Of the video games, I enjoyed the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series (with Kyle Katarn) and the Knights of the Old Republic (the first one). I really hope that after The New Republic, Volume Three, that they re-release the Thrawn trilogy as a Marvel anthology. I mean, Marvel now holds the Star Wars comics.

Yeah, seems all their kids went dark except Jaina, of whom they're supposed to make a Black Series figure of.
I have piles of the comics. I lost track with the Dark Horse stuff but, the other year, I finally completed the vintage Marvel series & read them all. They're really fun and shows the beginnings of how the fan base began with the letters pages & stuff.
I never got into the KOTOR stuff. I may have some comics from it though. I might have some figures from that era too but I'm not sure.
