I'm not really sure whether to categorize this as photography or photomanipulation. On the one hand, it is a photo, and one that I took, but on the other hand, the effect is entirely achieved through the photomanipulation. I mean really, literally any idiot with a camera can take a picture of a "Dead End" sign and apply a symbolic meaning to it. The real genius lies in the various distortions and obfuscation of the image, which sort of tap into subconscious fears.
