It is in those akward little moments, that true beauty can show itself .... or complete whimsy.I hand colored this shot in photoshop, took out the backdrop and made a new one w/ a gradiant. I had to build the shadow digitaly. Man, I love rangefinders.

Well, I love the way you coloured this by hand. Is there any certain way of how you approached the colouring and what technique did you use ? Im not quite experienced with colouring in photoshop but would love to hear some advice or thoughts on how to learn it...

extremely clean and sharp detail, a wonderful pose and expression...and the hand-colouring is delicate. the gradient and the shadow look a bit messed up / banded (but i know, they're a bastard to compress well in jpeg), but apart from that a flawless, professional piece.
