Description
Hemimorphite is a common silicate found in zinc deposits. It is a common mineral that can take many forms and vary from white to blue in hue. Generally, it is presented in the form of crusts or concretionary masses mamelonned. It crystallizes more rarely in the form of small transparent tabular crystals. It is a soft stone (hardness of 4.5 to 5 on the Mohs scale) and fragile.
