Nah. I don't worry too much, but a friend of mine told me he always thinks I'm stressed. I honestly don't know how to tell when it's "too much." I know I stress myself out over everything, but I think I'm probably just sick lol.

He'll be turning 2 on December 24th. I spent the Christmas of 2009 in the hospital and I couldn't have asked for a greater gift than the one of life.
Yeah, I have one too but it's hard to play when you're pregnant so I stopped and then I never picked it back up. I figure two years is quite long enough and I should get back into it (: lol.

I'm going to try to get rhythm guitar lessons, so it's more about learning the songs as opposed to putting all the emphasis on reading notes and music theory (which is important, but not AS important as people tend to think, especially considering that I already know how to read music.) I used to play the guitar to my baby before he was born. He loves music(:

I know people who are extremely picky about their music, but you're right. I don't know anyone who just doesn't like music at all lol. It drives me crazy when people try to put definitions on what "IS music" and what "ISN'T music" based on their personal preference for sound rather than on the creative ability of the artist. That's like saying that art can only be done in acrylic paint on a canvas, because that's the art that I enjoy. Even if you don't like something you should still be able to appreciate it. Personally I listen to many different types of music, and the bands I like range from contemporary to metal to classical guitar to rap and hip hop.

I hear ya! Some people are just close minded, ignorant, and limited intelligibly. Some people are incapable of understanding the fundamentals and or dynamics of a certain discipline. I don't associate nor waste my time with people like that at all. I am very eclectic as well when it comes to music and art.

I will say that some art and music actually is crap, but that's not because I don't like the style lol. I once had an art teacher tell my little sister that she was not artistic simply because she didn't do that technique the same way as the teacher. It drove me up a wall. You don't tell a 10 year old that she's not artistic just because she's not doing it your way. My philosophy is that there is no "wrong" in art, only new ideas (within reason...)
