Mega Flygon - Evolves during Battle while holding Flygonite/
Ability: Flying Grace (Adds Flying type to the Pokémon)*
*= Like the moves Trick-Or-Treat and Forest's Curse (also, when hit by either of these moves, the Flying Type is overwritten). So it's a third typing, giving Mega Flygon all advandtages and disadvantages (Flying STAB, immunity to Ground moves, triple weakness to Ice moves, etc...) of a third Flying Type. Serves as a special Levitate.

In the latest issue of the Japanese magazine, Nintendo Dream, Ken Sugimori was asked about the lack of the much-requested Mega Evolution, Mega Flygon. In it, he stated that while they had worked on concepts for Mega Flygon in Pokémon X & Y and again in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, they could never get a good design to come together for it.

Yep, I read that too. But I also saw (somewhere else, where exactly I don't know anymore) that he said they would never look at fan art for ideas. And I'm actually glad about that because while the fakemon community is awesome, they all base their designs in a way on Sugimori's. To derive something from something that's derived from something you designed yourself isn't a good idea I think.

Yes, but I wanted to give it an insect feeling. You have to admit that Vibrava and Trapinch look like insects, and I wanted to reference that.

True true but Dragon types r way better than bug types u have to admit, I think it would be better if Flygon was a Bug and Dragon type
