i did this for my painting class, it was a figurative abstract.This is my cousin Haley ( as seen here! [link] )
This is based off of two pictures, both taken on a family trip to Las Vegas. Obviously one is of her and teh back ground is based off of an aerial photo.

also the colouring. part reminds me of the ones in heroes. and i hope you don't take that insultingly (as im sure some people would)

no insulting-ness taken! most of the paintings in heroes i think are pretty good! they've just got their own style.
i find i live life better if i take things in the best way possible, unless they meant it badly, then i just see what i can get from it and make things better.
im pretty stoked you like it, i've been thinking of making another in a similar style, any thoughts for subject matter?
