Description One of the reasons I prefer to take landscapes during the winter months is because the monsoon humidity during the summer really reduces the ability to see farther and clearer. During the winter months the air is so dry and distortion free you can literally see for a hundred miles with some details still there.

So, with that said... This shot was taken on a high spot on the trail a few miles south of Crown King  looking east north east. The yellowish mountain range in the middle of the image is roughly 30 miles away. The very distant mountain range on the left is about 60+ miles away near the Camp Verde Valley area. And the very faint flat looking range in the upper right is the Mogollon Rim roughly 90+ miles away.

I had no idea that your state had a monsoon humidity.  Seriously, I didn't.  I always think of Arizona as being so dry and humid.  This is a great capture!

Thank you

Even when we have humidity it is still pretty low compared to places like Florida, Louisiana and the mid west in general

Well sometimes the fingers stutter and the emotes don't turn out right!

I just got one the other day.  It is a learning experience.  I have been a PC since the 80s. I don't know how to do anything on this tablet, yet!

If its a samsung type they are pretty easy once you dive in. If its an iPad I sincerely wish you luck in your opening days of discovery yet to come.  The company I worked for before the one I'm at now used ipads for everything. Even after 2 years we still called them the touch and stop device insread of the touch and go device.

Don't get me wrong though as it is still a great device when you are out and about and all tablets and ipads are very convient.

I think the best use by far is my ebook library... All my books where ever I go, well as long as the battery holds up

I have had a Samsung ATIV Smart Pro tablet before and I loved it.  It got killed by a lightning strike though.  But this is an ipad 4.  Planning on using it for one program.  A fractal program that only runs on Apple Devices, so hopefully it will work okay.  Got it thru ebay for $150.00 which I thought was a bit spendy, but I have wanted this program for a few years now.

I read my kindle books on my phone and also my audible audiobooks I listen to on my cell to. It is a samsung.

Thanks for the heads up!
