more testing on ink and tone for comics.when making thing cam up with a few ways of doing the BG.
and pfff finally hit me I kinda need to use smaller dots.
I had some type of mind set to have them so big.
I think my next test when ever I get to it will be even better.

I really like the style! Have you thought about how you're doing speech bubbles? I'd love to know what they're saying, this looks like quite a dramatic scene!
Note on the layout: it's usually easier for the reader if you can keep people facing the same direction. The guy in the first panel looks like he's stood with those armoured soldiers/officers who are consistently positioned on the left looking right, but the first panel has him on the right looking left. Sharkboy is consistently positioned on the right looking left, so that's fine for consistency, but it did take a moment for me to realise where in space the guy in panel one is stood, because the change in position makes him look separate from the intimidating crowd in the later panels.
I know it's not relevant for testing ink and tone, but just something to think about in terms of layout and positioning characters.

With how things are layed out, I can only think. "I come in peace Earth creatures, take me to your leader."
Yes the smaller dots seem to work well. I kinda wonder how you do that, I am interested.
