Description A mutilated version of Crowley from "Good Omens," and awesome book by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Unfortunately I can't do Crowley any justice at all. I tried Crowley, I really tried to do you justice. ;_;

As for the wings... it's actually the Bentley symbol behind him. Or an attempt at it. The plant? Oleander. A very poisonous plant/tree/bush, that happens to need a very warm climate to grow in.

"I see the world with my eyes open
I see the world through lidless eyes
I see a world that is sick with self-loathing
Nothing in the nothing to mystify

Black day, Black night
Flesh is burnt us under in the broad daylight
Black day, Black night
And the devil's softly singing through the thick of the fight

I see the world in sinking depression
I see the world in a stinking digression
No chance for heaven we're already in hell
And the devil's taking over at the ring of his bell

Black day, Black night
Flesh is burnt us under in the broad daylight
Black day, Black night
And the devil's softly singing through the thick of the fight

I see the world with my eyes open
I see the world through lidless eyes
I see a world that is sick with self-loathing
Nothing in the nothing to mystify

Black day, Black night
Flesh is burnt us under in the broad daylight
Black day, Black night
And the devil's softly singing through the thick of the fight

I see the world in sinking depression
I see the world in a stinking digression
No chance for heaven we're already in hell
And the devil's taking over at the ring of his bell

Black day, Black night
Flesh is burnt us under in the broad daylight
Black day, Black night
And the devil's softly singing through the thick of the fight

I see the world...

I see the world...

I see the world.

dude, he almost looks real if it weren't for the eyes o.o

and...he looks a little nazi-ish XD

but awesome job, just needs to be a little cleaner.

Are you drawing under pressure again? XD

Gahhhh... the eyes... do you see a way to fix them? I've been trying.

But he's not! He's just a fruit peddler.

End of semester? I guess that counts as stress... I had a lot of fun drawing it though.

If they were slighter darker. Or rather, the line quality is thin, where as the rest of the drawing has thicker lines. It's imbalanced because of it.

lolz Fruit Peddler.

that's good, I'm glad you're having fun while drawing ^^
but yeah, stress can screw up lots of things, no doubt D:

Ah...! Brilliant idea with Bentley-wings! It's appears so obvious, but somehow, no one thought of it until now. Good ideas often are obvious... after the fact, aren't they?

And quite nicely drawn, too. Good work.

The brilliant idea really goes to Neil and Terry for giving Crowley a Bentley to begin with. I'm sure it's no accident the emblem of the Bentley is a nice pair of wings.

I think so. But no one drawn it, yet. Not in that way. I haven't saw it, at least.

Strange.

Even though Crowley is an angel that not so much fell, but slowly sauntered downwards. He's also a part time forbidden fruit peddler.

RetteMichBabe In reply to PhantomSeptember [2009-04-18 00:54:26 +0000 UTC]

well they have some color at their centers don't they

Yellow or so I believe

PhantomSeptember In reply to RetteMichBabe [2009-04-18 00:57:34 +0000 UTC]

They might... but in the pictures I saw there wasn't any colour, just an off-white cream colour. I don't think it would do much for the piece.

AletheiaFelinea In reply to PhantomSeptember [2009-04-19 00:01:28 +0000 UTC]

I had pink oleander, in my own home. It looked like that: [link] (it isn't my photo). And ones with simple petals, like on the drawing, can be pink, too: [link]

But white is better for Crowley. And anyway, that flower is too terrified for color.

Yeah... I thought white would be better. It's not Aziraphale after all... XD

I really didn't think I'd finish this before then.

Most of the stuff I've done recently doesn't have any colour... though I'll do some eventually.
